Are the Pioneer DIR-2000C cans compatible with the SIR-800C base? | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org

Dropped my 800C phones. Superglued them back, but they broke in a bad spot so now they're uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time.

Just curious if the 2000C cans are any good and if they're compatible with the 800C base?

I think all Pioneer and Audio Technica DH units and headphones are fully inter-compatible, but not enough so to say with certainty.
