Are the NJM4560D and NJM4556 effectively the same?

I would like to make an RA-1 clone to see how it sounds. I have easy access to all parts, (solens, etc.) except the opamp. However, I have an NJM4560 laying around. Is it basically identical to the RA-1's NJM4556?

Thanks!

The main thing that makes the 4556 special is its 70mA output current ability into low-impedance loads. The 4560 datasheet says nothing about output current, usually an ominous sign that it's substandard.

In all other ways, the 4560 appears to be a superior chip. If its current is indeed relatively weak, it might sound better than the 4556 in a buffered headphone amp design.

Indeed. I noticed that on many Nakamichi cassette decks, the headphone output is driven by an NJM4560 with a discrete BJT emitter follower push-pull output buffer. This is a hint that the 4560 alone is not enough to drive headphones directly. Unfortunately, though, the Nakamichi's output buffer operates in class B. Bleach.
