Are Philips MP3 players any good?

Rio makes the Nike MP3 players. You may want to glance at the first sentence here. And the Cali ain't all that.

Depending on the price and use, there may be better players out that at this point. Probably not bad, but unlikely the best bang for buck.

Now I can get the PSA256MAX for $75 after rebate.. please give me some other players to look at.

Best Bang for the Buck is what I am after.

Rio once made the Nike players. They were the PSA]Play60 and PSA]Play120. Nike has since gone with Phillips to make their current line.

I have a hdd120 and am very happy with it, i used it to convert al my vinyl to mp3 - couldnt do that with on my ipod! The only problem is you need low z earphones as 5mw output sounds a bit quiet on hungry cans. I use e888lps and they are plenty loud. Oh an there is a cool ap for downloading songs by a guy called solon you install it on your hdd120 and it allows transfer to and from player to any pc.
