I saw a video of the Archos 604 WiFi PMP a few months ago. It is now listed on the official Archos Website. They claim a December 15, 2006, shipping date and the price is $449.99.
I don't know about anyone else, but this IS the type of player I have been looking for. It is both Mac and Windows compatible. It is a full-featured PMP and a touch screen WiFi internet browser. It has a removable replacement battery and a 30 gb. hdd.
I have a trip planned for February. If the reviews are good, this will be coming along.
I am a bit concerned about the touch screen.
What do you think?
