Hello,

As title says, I've only had these for a few weeks.  I noticed a section of the earcups was sort of hanging off,  does this normally happen?  Can i expect it to get worse?

Please see pics.

Thanks

This is could be considered normal, perhaps after a lot of wear and tear. Certainly not after a few weeks, even if you were wearing them 24 hours a day.   I will say that by the looks from the pictures it’s not any structural damage to the headphone it self, which is good. It looks to be like the ear pad is coming apart from the cup.  With that being said, if they were mine I would return them for an exchange. I forgot to mention that regardless of the fact that they have replaceable ear pads I would still exchange them. Who knows if there are other unseen signs of damage. Better to get a brand new pair, IMO.

Beyer has (very) good build quality but as you can see there is always the exception.
I had the DT 880 Manufaktur for 2 years now and (ab)used them every day.
I'm also aware of another T90 whose plastic cracked - so it does happen even to Beyer.
Return them - you want to enjoy them and not be bugged by this defect (I'd be pissed).

Someone tried to take them off or something and did it wrong getting them back on and forced them on.

It was Mr C in the kitchen with a screwdriver, I swear it.
