I hope this hasn't be posted before --forgive me if this is the case.  For any of you science geeks like myself, this video will pique your interest.  This guy has a FANTASTIC YouTube channel.  But in the following video, he has used an electron microscope to make a video of a stylus moving through the grooves of a record, as well as some other really interesting analogue media that I didn't know existed.  Enjoy!
