I have a hobby home studio which consist of a some guitars/amps/mics a Mac with Logic, an Apogee duet, and some KRK V-Series monitors and a pair of MDR7506s.

I only use the headphones for tracking when I record takes/etc and sometimes for some light editing work when I am on the road.

I was wondering with all the advances in in-ear monitors if anyone used them for light-weight studio work in tandem with reference monitors. I read in an article/interview that people are starting to use them more for tracking in studios.

I'd love to have one nice compact set of headphones that I could plug into m duet and do light studio work but also carry around and use with something like an iphone to play what I am working on.

The new Sennheiser headphones interested me but I wanted to see if anyone had experience.
