Anyone here using WinMX ? I need some help.

My WinMX cant really display japanese character, only alphabets.
If i cut and paste a japanese singer name onto the search box, it would turn into some funny numerics..
Does anyone know how to fix the WinMX to be able to read/write japanese or chinese characters ?

You don't fix an application to be able to enter Japanese characters... You fix Windows. Change the locale to Japanese.

how to do that ?

while we're at it... anyone here knows how to make your PC able to type in japanese character ?

my windows is english (australian) one, and the best i can do is to display characters (japanese, korean, chinese, etc) from "language" encoding on Internet explorer, but i still cant type in japanese (using alphabetical keyboard - i can only type in alphabet)

The PCs at my uni are able to do that as well, i think it can switch between typing in japanese mode and normal english typing mode...

how to fix that ?
