Does anyone have a scanned/PDF'd version of the SCD-CE775 manual?

If not, can anyone check if there's any way to default to 2-Channel playback, even if a Multi-Channel SACD is placed in?

Thanks!

Heya vwap,

I've got one of those players, but I'm still in school right now. I'll check it when I get home. However, I don't think you can default it to 2 channel. On the other hand, I don't have the original remote that the 775 came with...What I do know is that it retains its memory of what setting you left it on as long as you don't take the cd out.

IIRC, didn't someone scan the manual for this and post in on head-fi?

EDIT: Gah, that was a manual for a D-25. Oh well, ooheadsoo will help you out.

I don't have a manual either, but here's how I set it to 2 channel default:

You hit the menu button four times until the display reads <2CH/MCH Setup>. Press the track selector knob and turn it to change it from MCH to 2CH. Press the track selector again to set your new setting and push the menu button once more.
Done.

Heya jopi!

Is the menu button on the deck or on the remote?

It's on the deck. I don't have a remote (show floor model purchase), so there may be a menu button on the remote as well.

Don't see a menu button on the remote... but there's one on the deck under the stop button
