My son and his friend have been trying to play COD on the 360 and it's almost impossible. They each keep getting a message that they can't get in or something like that. Any idea what the problem is?

Infinity Ward is working on a patch for the multiplayer section of CoD2. It addresses the "Server Full" and "Unable to connect" issues, it should be available by mid February.

I want to say how bad halo 2's ranking system is. It seem to always put me a about 28 for team slayer but I rarely win battles at 28. Perhaps about 2 of 7 or 8. It seems that Ihave to loose at least 6 or 7 battles to go down a ranking Then when I go down to 27 or 26 all it takes to put me back up to 28 is one good win. It seems like my ideal score would be 25. I do well 50% of the time at that level but I'm only there about once a month. So frustrating.

The recoil in COD2 is my biggest complaint. In COD, if you used the MP44, you had to work with the recoil to get in the long shots but in COD2 you'd think you were using a .22. So now it's annoying when anybody with 5 minutes practice can get in full auto kills from across the map. There really isn't much of a learning curve or challenge with the weapons anymore. I think it was all done for the console, to lessen the recoil and add in the shotgun makes it easier to play using the control pad. Still, I do not want to go back to COD:UO because the density of the maps in COD2 makes them so much more interesting (especially the added avenues of protection on Brecourt). Except for the Russian railyard. It's like they sat down and outlined the primary goal for porting that map to be, "how much crap can we cram into one map?"

Too right. I tried playing CoD2 on the XB360 for an hour or so, but in the end the headache was too much and I never had any paracetamol at hand.

Amen to that. I loved UO, bought CoD2 the day it came out, but the recoil and accuracy are hideous, probably to make the 360 life easier. I mean, the MP44 in CoD2 is worse than what the AWP was in CS 0.5 (Back when it had crosshairs when not scoped). Makes the game totally unenjoyable a lot of the time.
