Hi everyone. I was watching Saturday Night Live last night, which had Garth Brooks as the host. The music guest was Chris Gaines. He has a large number of band members including 2 or 3 background singers. Anyway, the song that he did caught my attention and when I searched for his name everywhere, it came up empty. Maybe he was just a one hit wonder?. I realize that the SNL show was a re-run, so maybe this Chris Gaines has been out of the picture for a long time. Could somebody who has heard of him please give me the name of his cd(s). Thanks for the help! Huck

Todd's not messing with you, Garth Brooks did an album as the fictional singer "Chris Gaines" (or Ganes). I think he wanted to branch out in musical styles, without alienating his gravey train in country music. Either that or he's into cross dressing in a weird way.
