The appeal of the Shuffle to me is that it is also a USB drive that plugs directly into the USB port without needing an additional cable. I hate the lack of a screen. Are there any alternatives for very small MP3 players with a male USB jack?

Creative Muvo TX
BenQ Joybee 125
Muzio JM300
Muzio JM200

WeWa WMP-135+

....

And the list goes on and on and on and on

Thanks.

Only the Creative and BenQ appear to be available in the US. The BenQ only goes up to 256MB so that leaves the Creative. The 1GB model is only slightly more than the Shuffle and looks like a nice player. I prefer the internal, rechargable battery of the Shuffle and the iTunes integration. But the lack of a screen is a killer. Decisions... decisions....

If this helps your decisions I prefer to look at it from the "I prefer the use replacable battery" POV. Also I prefer the USB is part of the device structure of the TX (I think only the FM version had the gig capacity) to the cable of the N200.
