I was wondering if any of you can recommend a SMALL portable speaker, (system), that can be used for my old cassette Walkmans and PCDP's? I don't care if it's amplified or not as long as it works decently as say, for camping, a workbench, desk or whatever. I'm not looking for room filling stereo just decent sound, in a small package that can be shared.

In the future, a very good and inexpensive speaker setup is the Logitech Z-340 - a subwoofer and two satellite speakers - it sounds terrific.

It's primarily used as a computer speaker system but mates well with the line-out of CD and MP3 players.

MSRP is around $50, but I have seen them on sale for as low $30. Carried by Target, Best Buy, Fry's, Newegg.com.

Requires 120VAC.
