I have a black plastic Pioneer PL-600 automatic, which everyone seems to slag on. However, once properly set up with a Grado Black1, this is a damn good sounding TT. Anyone have any similar experiences?

There's arguably nothing in audio that's easier to screw up than vinyl playbabck. No love on this end. Wouldn't even play one of my own records on something similar. No offence, genuinely.

LOL, I was skeptical too. I've owned Thorens and Technics tables in the past, but this was a budget find, and I'm surprised how good it sounds.
 
EDIT: To be clear, not comparing the quality of this turntable to these others, just stating that I know what good TT's sound like.

This is not a giant killer, but it's damn good for $20.
