Hi, I read that the PA2V2 bests the Fiio E5 in SQ, but the PA2V2 costs a heck of a lot more than the E5 ($60 vs $20). So is there any competition to the PA2V2 that is cheaper than it? Thanks

The PA2V2's price is quite reasonable, imho. You're talking about a hand-built amp, built with decent quality parts, and warranteed for life.

I'd suggest keeping an eye on the 'for sale' forums. There's usually at least one for sale at any given time, and they seem to run about $40 shipped.

Heck, if you're really interested in a PA2V2, I'd be willing to part with mine for that price.
