I just bought my first Afro-pop album - shoki shoki by Femi Kuti.
Anyone have any suggestions of other albums or artists to check out?

I don't know Femi Kuti and I'm not sure this falls under the Afro Pop section but I recently saw Afro Celt Sound System live and the Monday after I bought the CD. I really like it a lot.

I think Femi Kuti tends to be a bite more pop/rock sounding then Afro Celt Sound System. but thanks for the suggestion. I bet it was a good concert!
