Hi,
I just purchased a Ray Samuels SR-71 amp from Todd on Sunday. He shipped it out on Monday and I had it on Tuesday here in Southern California.
I had it shipped Fedex 2 Day, but was pleasantly surprised that it arrived the next day.
One thing is certain, Todd is a man of his word. And when he takes a customer's money, he takes it *very* seriously and ships out as soon as possible.
The performance of the amp is very impressive in terms of quality. The sound is very rich and balanced. In music with lots of "silent" areas, the amp is dead quiet, giving you this sense of presence that is almost eerie in its presentation. The exquisite detail and sound can be best appreciated in a very silent room.
The gain on the device is somewhat lower than what I've seen from other amps when driving HD600's. However, the sound is very full even at low volumes.
Anyways, thanks so much and I wouldn't hesitate ordering from Todd again.
