I need some ANC headphones for studies. My only needs are;
I have researched this to death, I would have bought the sony ULT or xm5's if the hinges didn't break. I have also read that the momentum 4's can be annoying to live with due to the sensors and that they aren't sturdy either. The B&W PX7 S2E would have been my choice, but then I learned B&W don't want you to change the batteries. Currently I have my eye on the JLab Epic Lux Lab Edition, but they aren't out yet and no reviews either.
I already own the fidelio x2 (loved them), fidelio x3 (don't like them as much), Sennheiser momentum TW (first gen, loved them), v-moda crossfade 2 codex (like the sound, dislike everything else about them), qudelix 5k and a pair of letshuoer z12 (like them).
I know this forum doesn't love wireless, but I want to ask here, as you guys have experienced way more headphones than most and will likely see if I have missed an obvious choice.
- Good enough ANC to not allow voices to bother me whilst studying.
- Good enough build quality that they won't suddenly break (looking at you Sony)
- "Good" sound. I don't mind a V-curve though. Boosted treble is something I struggle to listen to. (but then again, most headphones have an app for EQ.)
- I would like to be able to change the battery. I don't like waste. It doesn't have to be dead simple to replace, but not almost impossible either.
