Hello I have my Sennheiser HD600 paired with Tempotec Sonata HD but I want to get myself a nice amp or an amp/dac combo with a volume knob.
I am looking to mainly order from Aliexpress as I am living in Bulgaria and even shipping from Europe is expensive.
Budget is around 120 USD I have looked at brands like Sabaj, Topping, Xduoo, Tempotec and so far I have found the Sabaj D2/D3/PHA2 and the Tempotec Serenade.
Any other suggestions? I can also use the Sonata HD as a dac since I have an rca to 3.5mm cable.

Save up until you can afford an OTL tube amp like the bottle head crack. A good tube amp makes a night and day difference with hd600s

What he said. Save a bit bro, HD600 needs juice, and most budget amps don't do well.

It may be slightly out of your price range, but the Schiit Vali 2 or 2+ are a decent choice for the HD600s.

The hd600 likes the power, it will shine more with a desktop amplifier than with a dac dongle. I I'd like to try with bottlehead crack some day.

The Sabaj A20h will do a wonderful job. The Tanchjim Space with 4.4mm balanced Youkamoo cables will fit the budget and also do a great job.

Tubes seem like such an investment. I’m usually enjoying music the most in the dark and with a blanket on, sitting behind a laptop with a DAC feels like I’m analyzing it rather than enjoying.

Any thoughts?
