Hello,
I just ordered a pair of Beyerdynamic DT880 Pro 250 ohm headphones, and was looking for a competent headphone amp to properly drive these. I'll be using the headphones primarily for music production purposes, so I want something fairly transparent and neutral.
I've heard the Beyerdynamic range is generally quite power-demanding, so would the ART HeadAmp 4 be sufficiently powerful to drive the DT880 Pro 250 ohm version? Sonically, is the HeadAmp 4 transparent and neutral?
I'm looking for alternative options to the HeadAmp 4, within the 100$ bracket. I can't stretch above that for the foreseeable future.
