Sleater Kinney is Time Magazine's Best Rock Band of The Year!

See the latest issue of Time. They are a riot-grrl group that started underground, but are now getting bigger all the time. Their music sounds like a mixture of punk, hard rock and god knows what else. Actually, they have a very unique sound.

I highly recommend their " All Hands On The Bad One" if you want to hear their best CD.

I've been recommending them to Headwizers for a while now, but hey, it's a new message board!

Wow, they have gone a long way. I personally liked "Dig Me Out." To my suprise, it won album of the year from Rolling Stone or something a couple years back.

In terms of other Girrl works, I really like the Le Tigre self titled CD. Man, talk about fun, sexy and hardcore rolled into one. The Le Tigre project is a branching of Kathleen Hanna/Bikini Kill, another one of those early in the day girrls.
