I can´t believe it… K340 better than a K701… but I ready which K340s appeared at 70s ending, right? This headphones still sold?. Although but the impressive thing of everything is that they are electrostatic.

It's a 2 way system with built-in crossover.Dynamic drivers are responsible for frequencies up to 4000 Hz, anything above is provided by electret drivers.Electrets aren't exactly electrostats, but somewhat similar in technology and sound. Quote:

Modded K340s do sound very good.
Personally I do like them better than the K701s, but in the end it's a question of taste.I'd say they are in the same league. Quote:

Congratulations on the K340s! They are indeed an extremely nice pair of cans. While I personally do not think that the K340s are "better" than the K701s I currently have, I also think that they are not worse either, just different. So they complement each other in my rig, and I couldn't be happier.
