Wow, cool, all the surfer/headfi's - amazing.

Jeremy - I surf Rockpiles because of the convenient parking and good paddle. Just too lazy to try a new place. Plus, all the dawn patrol buys know each other there, as anywhere else where the same guys go all the time, I suppose. (ie: like here)

I on rare occasions do go to Courts, Cliff's, Tongs, and once or twice a year to Tracks, and maybe once a year to Lani's or Ehukai.

If it weren't such a heinous paddle I'd go to Turtles in Hawaii Kai more.

Speaking of Tiger sharks - a couple of weeks ago all the dawn patrollers were chased out of the water by a police helicopter - someone on shore said there were two tiger sharks. We may never know.

lot of those sharks around lately--in late august we went out to the west side past nanakuli--swimming with the dolphins--but unbeknownst to us the day before a tiger killed a baby spinner dolphin
