Just bought the cable for my UE18 Pro - should the red / blue dot be facing the ceiling or the floor when the IEM is in my ears? Also, I suppose the side with blue dot matches the left and red the right, am I correct?
The shopkeeper said the dot should face the floor but the vocal sounds a bit recessed so I turned it around - Whoa! it is a different world and sound is much brighter and is what I would expect from a cable at this price. So is it correct the color dot should face up when I connect to UE 18 Pro? Or should it be like what the shopkeeper says, just that the cable hasn't been burnt in? Would be grateful if someone could enlighten me as to what is the correct polarity. Many thanks.
