It's finally that time again! Grab your gear and join us at our 5th Albuquerque Head-Fi Meet!

Directions and Venue Info:
Don Newton-Taylor Ranch Community Center

Here's the room:

We will have a semi-private meeting room that will likely require a bit of set-up, so arrive early! Bring a power strip for your gear, if you can. If you can think of any other logistics that need to be sorted out, let me know.

RSVP if you can come and list the gear you're going to bring and I'll aggregate that below. If you know any Head-Fiers from NM, tag them in the thread.

Why are people listening to headphones in hot air balloons?

I recommend someone work to get this thread on the home page to attract more people.

sorry, thought I posted affirmative.

Now, what to bring. For the most part, I rarely use headphones at home anymore, other than working out. I repurposed my son's bedroom as a listening room, so when I want to seriously listen, I use that room. At any rate, I would like to know if there is any interest in my kit made Transcendent Sound "The Masterpiece"? Alternatively I can bring my Mainline. I would prefer not to bring both.

For headphones, I will bring my Utopia (gen 1).

It's on the homepage already! I'm working on a promotional image to go with it too.

Thanks for RSVPing! Personally, I'd like to see that Masterpiece. Very curious about 300b.

What about @CoFire @Allanmarcus and @ycatsmot? Are you all able to make it? Know anyone else that might be interested in coming?
I'll put the word out on the Vintage Hi-Fi group on Facebook... might get one or two people interested. I made the attached pic for our last Swap Meet and asked for people to bring headphone gear to let others listen. Nobody else brought anything, but I had a few people hang out and give my stuff a try.

Hete's my little list, I'm mostly interested in trying the Calderas on as many different amps as I can.

ZMF Caldera Open
Harmonicdyne Poseidon
Harmonicdyne/Zeos Eris
Meze 99 Noir
Da-Art Aquila II DAC/Amp
xDuoo TA-66 OTL Tube Amp
Fiio BTR5

@Allanmarcus I'd love to check out the Mainline, I had it pegged to be my most likely entry into DIY (eventually, waiting on the Lottery!) as the "endgame" for my ZMF Caldera. But I'd also be interested in checking out the Masterpiece if you think it would beat the Mainline for my Caldera. More recently I've gravitated toward the ZMF Aegis... and almost decided that for this kind of money I'd rather save a bit longer and get the commercial version rather than the DIY kit.

Awesome! Spreading the word wherever is a plus. There are a few non-Head-Fiers I know with some decent gear, so I've been working on getting them to come. Always hard to say with that sort.

Since you're bringing the Caldera, I'll bring my WA22. I've been very curious about that particular combination myself.
