I currently have both pairs of phones I own up for sale, with the intent of picking up a like new (but not new) set of AKG K1000s.
According to AKG's website the warranty is not transferable, and thus it would be pointless for me to buy a pair that is like new, with all boxes and paperwork.
So my query to all of you is - should I care?
With the K1K gone, new is out of the question, and like new will become rare as time goes on. I want them very badly, and will be able to afford them (barely), but I worry about repair costs.
Headfiers, talk me into it or out of it.
