I am looking for good $30 range headphone. AKG K52 has good reviews but OneOdio is not reviewed much yet but is selling crazy on Amazon. So, which is better. Has anyone tried both and how do they compare. Also are there any better Closed-back Over-ear Headphones in that range.

In my personal opinion from headphones in this budget range Takstar HD2000 are ones worth giving a try. I auditioned them once in a store and to my ears they had pretty decent comfort and price to performance ratio. Also cheap Sony models like MDR-ZZX110 are pretty good. I used to have one of previous models and form my experience these cheap Sonys offer surprisingly sturdy built quality with very competitive sound for this price range. Yes, they are on-ear instead of overear, but to be fair many headphones in this price range have terrible pads, that make it difficult to get a good seal and therefore have better bass because of overear design. I think that might be the case with AKG K52.

On ebay you can get the Corsair void pro in that price range on a good day with an auction. I got a pair for my nephew and thought they were pretty good. Also the Hyperx Could stinger core I got for $32 with shipping on ebay. They're really good sounding if you don't use the software and disable windows enhancements. The battery like lasted over 20 hours and for $30 I was really impressed. Just make sure it comes with the dongle transmitter.
