K240 Sextett After I modified it, replaced the new lead, new internal wiring and made it unplugged plus the upgrade cable now sounds amazing similar to hd800.

I've been considering doing a balanced conversion on mine since they're notoriously power-hungry.

I upgraded my LP Sextetts with balanced cables (MMCX connectors) and they do certainly sound fantastic. What are you using for pads? I've been enjoying ZMF Auteur pads in perforated suede, really brings out the detail these cans are capable of.
