So here's my dilemma, I have a Rockford Fosgate punch 401s 1200 watt amp and 12" sub (both circa 1999-2003) that I inherited from my step dad and nothing else. I drive a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder with a stock bose sound system and I blew out the stock sub. The car came with a stock amp if that makes a difference. I have a good idea how to wire the amp to power it (except for the 12v lead) and a general idea how to wire the remote trigger to turn it on when the stereo is on. Other than that I'm clueless as to how I get the signal I need from the stereo for the sound or how to connect the sub. I've spent hours researching but everything I've found is geared toward people who have a background in car audio. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You might get more and better responses if you asked your question in a Car Audio related forum rather than a forum
where the main focus is on Headphones and Headphone related electronics.
