After listening to bass for a while, no more bass can be heard

With increasingly powerful headphones and amps and our desire to have the best, I believe we should all get out ears checked atleast 1 time per year. All this love and investment into audio equipment to increase the music's transmission to our ears, might as well take care of the more tangible aspect, the actual organ receiving the data!
