I own a Sony MZ-E10 and use a pair of Seinheiser 400's for portable use. At home I use my Grado 125's.
I'm looking for a pair of phones as an upgrade to the Seinheiser (not buds) for portable use. In comparing certain models, what standard is used to determine how loud the music sounds? Is it the sensitivity or the impeadance or both?
I ask this because I notice that the Koss PortaPros are close when it comes to sensitivity, but miles apart on the impeadance. In fact, my Grado's are right in between the two in that department. I have no problem with the volume level with the Grado's on the MZ-E10, but the volume on them is limited when using an MZ-N1.
