Adam A3X upgrade to KEF LS-50?

I’m thinking about upgrading my newbie system and want to get some opinions from you guys on whether I will see a huge improvement on sound quality or if I should save up more money for a bigger upgrade. I will need to sell my current gears to help pay for the new stuff so I won’t be able to do a comparison. I mostly listen to CD-ripped FLAC and high-res mp3 files. Also, I'll be moving the system from desktop listening to on stands in my living room. Is this upgrade worth it?
