Hi all,
I want to use the AD1896 to reduce jitter, which requires a sampling rate conversion - in my case, going from 44.1kHz to 96kHz. I'd like to interface the AD1896 to the DF1706, but I'd also like to be able to make use of the bypass pin on the AD1896 in order to be able to disable the ASRC function (this way I can experiment and determine if I prefer the sound of the ASRC or not). As I read the datasheet for the DF1706, it isn't possible to do this because there isn't any shared frequency between the 44.1kHz clock and the 96kHz clock (e.g. the only way to do this would be to have two different clocks - which seems like a lot more work than it is worth).

I'm not sure about this though, so I thought I'd ask.
Thanks for your help,
Clutz
