hi,

first of all, i'll be honest, i haven't received them yet, BUT i am making this thread because my ears aren't that trained to understand the real difference, or which sound should be more real etc.

i'd like to ask only few things:

i have read that you shouldn't use Headphones mode in soundcard settings, as well as Windows XP settings but 2 Speaker settings (it sounds better) - is this correct?

also, i've read that you shouldn't use any soundcard equalizer tweaking with a500 at least, screws sound up - is this correct as well?

nothing much more to ask, i guess.

To the purists tweaking the EQ is not recommended. But if you don't like how the headphones sound, say too much or too little bass then slight tweaking is ok if the end result makes you happy with the can.
