And that person is me.
Hi everyone, I'm totally new to this forum so I hope I'm doing things right. Anyways, I found a pair of Jamo CL 25, a Sony GX47ES receiver and a Sony CDP-C245 in a flee market for 50 bucks. I decided to plug it all up, and it sounded great, except for the bass. There's none actually. I thought it was because the foam ring around the lower speakers are completely ruined (these towers must be fifteen years old) but I asked on another board anyways, and they said that while it might not help, the amp in the receiver also might not be powerful enough to drive the Jamos.
So, can anyone recommend me an amp that could drive these speakers while keeping it as low-cost as possible?
Thank you.
Pictures if it may help:
