Ok, so my poor SL-P777 is giving up the ghost, which I'm heartbroken about. Something to do with it's motor, which is brushless and apparently near impossible to fix...
So....
I need a new CD deck for my hi-fi. Something of a similar age or sound signature, as I do love this CD deck (ok, it wasn't the best, but I love it ok? haha).
For the life of me, I have never EVER seen one for sale, or any in that range, for that matter, in the 5 years of owning this deck. Hence why I'm annoyed and resigning to the fact that I may have to get a new CD deck. I will keep this one though, something/someone might turn up and it'll get fixed.
Wishful thinking indeed.
Ok, I'm no expert on CD decks, I'm more of a vinyl person, so I'm open to suggestions. Price tag, maybe £100 or so?
Thanks for ANY recommendations, either about repairing Technics CD decks, or suggestions for a suitable replacement.
