A place to try on HEadphones/IEMs in LA?

Look in Grado's website, put in your zip code and radius size. I found one in Costa Mesa smack behind my brother's college campus that he didn't even know was there (and I think I saw it on that show where they bid on storage lockers). Grado has a more extensive dealer network among audiophile stores whereas Sennheiser, AKG, and Beyerdynamic are more likely to land you in a pro audio store with high output impedance USB/Firewire/Thunderbolt interfaces instead of just DAC-HPamps. At minimum, if a store has Grado, it likely has Musical Fidelity headphone amps. If you're lucky, they might have Audeze headphones.

I've got the same question but for a different location. Any recommendations to try out earphones/IEMs in Dallas, TX?
I would recommend calling Audio Concepts on Preston Rd, 214 360 9520. I think they carry mostly headphones, over-ear, but they will likely know where you can try out IEMs in DFW. They appear legit. Good luck.

I've been to the Schiit store and They have a great selection of headphones to try with their amps. Unfortunately none of the headphones are for sale. They only sale Schiit products. But still it's a great place to try some high end audio gear.

Which brands do you want to try in particular?

Can you help locate the Schiit Store you are talking about? Is this in Dallas, TX by any chance?

Yeah the Schiit store is in the Los Angeles area. It just opened a few months ago and it's their first and only store. Sorry but I don't know of any good locations in Texas.
