Hi.
I have tried contacting Schiit a couple of times, but I found that I never got around to installing the 4490 upgrade that I bought, into my Bifrost and as such I'd like to do that, but no instructions for installation came in the box, or on their website, and no response to the last 2 emails I sent about it.

Anyone have instructions for that please? I presume it must be a case of removing the screws and then replacing the existing daughter board, but best to check I think.

This link shows how to upgrade a Bifrost USB card. The same instructions would apply to the DAC card as well. It's a fairly easy process, as I've swapped cards in my Bifrost. The hardest parts was putting everything together again. The front panel LEDs are a pain to align. Plus, hold the case with the front panel facing down. That keeps the front push button from dropping out.
