3d Gen Nano and Remote Control

Here's my quandry. As winter rapidly approaches, I want to start using my remote control for my nano as it will be buried inside of a coat. BUT I want to continue using my LOD (Turbo V13). Since the remote and the LOD use the same port, what do I do?????

I think I know the answer and that is YOU ARE SOL on one or the other.

Any suggestions??????
