I am looking for a $100-ish or less headphones with a good mic. Or should I just buy them separately? If so, then could you recommend some closed headphones?

Best mic is an Ant Lion mod-mic - because if you change headphones or upgrade, you can easily move the mic to the next headphone/headset.
Or you can take it off for storage when its not in use.
After that you've got about $70 to play with.
I would probably get a Sennheiser HD419 ($50)
It's comfy, isolates fairly well, has a decently lush bass and importantly for the mod-mic has lots of space for the sticker that mic attaches to.
