Hi, I have £100 to get my computer audio sorted out. At the moment I use a £5 pair of headphones and integrated sound. Should I get £100 headphones? Or a card and headphones?

The open headphone should provide better surround sound, the closed one sounds a little better.

Hi, open headphones leak at decent volumes, so if this could be a problem, look at closed options. However, open phones will give a less claustrophobic feel that is better for longer sessions.

Another alternative to phones would be to look at a dac, or dac/amp combo, and then look to upgrades phones next month.
