It's funny that you even hit SUBMIT.

UPS has always been good to me. I'm on the lower east side, where are you?

Hey Lan,

I'm on 42nd Street and 12th Ave.

I have to tell you, I'm in heaven right now. I've been listening to my 650s for the last 2 hours. Unbelievable !!!!!!!!!

I think I'm going to try to write a review in a couple of days. This was actually my first time hearing the 650s. What an improvement over the RS1s I've been living with. These things are SOOOOOO SMOOOTTHHHHH

!!!

Regarding UPS, I almost jumped through the telephone tonight. I had ZU Cable send me my Mobius Cables from Colorado via FEDEX(next day air). It got here this morning around 9:30 am. Meanwhile, MVP Audio sent my 650s via UPS (next day air) from BROOKLYN (20 minutes away) and they lost them. I must have spoken with everyone in the company within a 45 minute period. All of a sudden, they magically appeared at my door. My doorman literally called me as I was writing this email earlier.

Regardless of all of that, the cans and the cables are fantastic.

Boy am I confused. I guess they don't have a retail outlet, and the thought to just have them send UPS Ground shipping didn't cross your mind? I mean, I really hope you didn't pay extra for next day air considering the package never would have actually gone near an airplane.

Meanwhile, has anyone else noticed that UPS shipments have been moving much faster recently? I sent two items in the past couple weeks through them, my Dackit and Sugden, and both arrived at their respective destinations (Maryland and Indiana (iirc), respectively) in two days flat.

Well, looks like I'm having a bad UPS experience right now. They are telling me that my CD3000's were delivered today along with another package that contained my XP-7. I was home when the delivery occured, and I only recieved the package with the XP-7. I really hope they didn't lose my CD3k's.

This is not necassarily true. When I purchased my E5's from mircrophonesolutions, which is based in Florida, I ordered them with 2nd day air. However, though I didn't realize it at the time, they were out of stock. They were going to have them shipped to my house directly from the manufacturer. Now, Shure ships their products literally 25 minutes away from me in Illinois. I ended up tracking the package and discovered that FedEx took my E5's to a pickup/ drop off location that is about a good 3 minutes from my house. I was thinking, great, I'll probably get my E5's that day. So what does FedEx do next? Well, of course they put them on a plane and send them to NEW FRICKIN JERSEY!

Wow, I'm sorry to hear about this. Hope you do receive your CD3K's soon, as for myself all of my experiences with UPS so far has been positive (knocking on wood) so far. As for USPS, well that's a different story, received many packages from them damaged. It seems like they had hired a bunch of gorillas to handle the packages.

Thanks! It's funny, because stuff like this only happens with shipments that I eagerly anticipate.

I've had terrible experience with UPS, even worse with the UPS store. I'm STILL trying to get the UPS store to release my claim to me so that I can pursue it. (they refuse to persue it)

Their goal is to get you fustrated so you give up.

Well, it looks like everything worked out, as I just got my package less than an hour ago. I got in contact with the local shipping manager in my area and he was extremely helpful and courteous. After my initial conversation with him, he got in contact with the driver (who either misplaced the package or delivered it to the wrong address) and called me right away. He had the driver at my house in less than 20 minutes after I got off the phone with him. Truthfully, I was really impressed with the service. And as for my CD3K's

UPS is great. They shipped one of my packages across the United States from the East Coast to the West Coast and back a couple of times. Then it got stuck being transferred between two local cities for a week before it ended up on my door step. The box had rounded off corners and the shipping label was mostly missing and the UPS delivery man was like trying to figure out the missing words on the address label.

If you ever want to ship something to someone but you want that someone to suffer the agony of poor and unreliable delivery service, UPS might be the pefect solution.
