Nice review mate! Since you have already compared NFB-28 and D200, how about NFB-28 vs DA8? Both are 9018. Forget the price difference.

Thanks Luke, the DA8 is in a completely different class. Not as as many features of course but it is a true hi-end dac which the 28 is not imo.  I would be comparing the DA8 to the nfb-7. Unfortunately I haven't heard the 7 but have owned the far more expensive Ref 7.1 and would rate the DA8 at the same level or slightly higher, depending on your Sound preferences & NOS vs SD, Dac only vs head amp & preamp etc. I still would take the DA8 over the Ref 7.1 in a heart beat, & given the choice I would take it over the nfb-7 too (Although I would love to hear it!)
 
Features aside, the Yulong D18 also was ahead of the 28 imo. Just sooo musical - if thats your thing. & the combo of musical and the sabre 9018 chip is usually pretty magic!
 
When it comes to comparing Yulong & Audio GD - the right comparison for the D200 is the 28 imo.
