@vaziyetu "very good & enlightening & detailed review" really? He stated himself that he gave it one try and didn't even bother burning them in. Even $500 headphones sometimes sound bad before the burn-in.
And, how can you tell that they're real by just looking at the price? I'd hate for you to be a doctor. You'd probably just diagnose people with cancer by just looking at their name.

DJ it'd be better if we band our heads onto the wall than talk to this guy. Some people are too stubborn to understand, they never ever understand that audio is subjective and they think we are pistons fanboys trying to protect them from guys like these who want to expose these things. Well FYI we are not doing a serial where someone did something bad and is trying to save himself and is trying to hide what he did. Hoping you would understand, if not let me use google translator for you.

These aren't remotely as bad as you make them out to be. I've listened to these for many hours before gifting them to a friend. They're certainly not on the level of the VSD3S (which is just plain amazing especially for the price). I've listened to many pieces of crap in the $10-20 range from Sony to JVC to Skullcandy (ugh, just gotta erase that from my head) and several other Chinese brands. The Piston 2 is definitely the most competent one (from what I've listened to, I'm sure you've listened to more though). I'd easily recommend them again to anyone, but not without the double-check caveat of "are you sure these are what you want? Do a little more research to make sure or save the extra $20 for a set I could recommend without any hesitation."
