Have you experimented with swapping tubes to see how it affects the sound? Do you have any tube recommendations that could enhance its performance for a music enthusiast like me?

Thank you for your kind words. I did my entire review on the stock tubes and have not yet tried other tubes. I wanted to get a really good understanding of the amp in its stock configuration before I began trying others. I think I’m going to start delving into different tubes here pretty soon, though. I’ve got a few recommendations for tubes already, but definitely going to start with rolling the 2A3s first and foremost.

@smodtactical I heard the WA33, but not the Feliks Envy or Cayin lineup.

@Leto Dal I’m guessing that it’s due to the single-ended design of this amp, versus the Envy and WA33 being fully balanced, maybe?

wow thank you for the test tracks. Holy smokes that rendition of Sound of Silence was insane. Granted I listened on the Mojo2>Valhalla 2(gold Lion upgraded 6922)>RN6. Thank god I'm an IEM guy because these 300B masterpieces would bleed me dry

@RONJA MESCO its true, the external box is another beautiful box in the same style! That is tucked underneath the equipment rack, hidden, unfortunately, so it was not able to be photographed easily.
