Thanks for the review!

Imho this is a very interesting approach (pretty much the first universal fit IEMs with an ambient bore for stage musicians who prefer to hear more of the crowd and their band mates, as it was only found as extra in CIEMs and hasn't been used with universal fit BA-only IEMs yet).

Nice review! How would you say the soundstage compares to something like the Pinnacle P1?

@avitron142 : Avi, that's actually a good suggestion for soundstage comparison.  I just did a quick a/b and would say that P1 pushing it a little wider.  The advantage of P1 is brighter upper mids and more sparkle/airiness in treble - that helps with a wider perception of the soundstage expansion.

Nice review!
Long nozzle. I have problems with short ones so that looks like a non issue with these :)

@twister6 Yeah, brightness can sometimes fool perceptions of soundstage. If it sounds like wide though, it's good enough for me xD

Stage musician tunings are a bit different than audiophile tunings, so I wasn't expecting a massive soundstage to begin with. But it's good to hear it punches its weight!

Good review of a very interesting product. I know these are designed for stage musicians, but do you think they would be a good fit for non-performing situations where isolation is detrimental for situational awareness? I'm specifically thinking about suitibility for outdoor excercise, where I don't want to block out my surroundings.

@gdpeck : that was exactly my point of the intro and conclusion, even so they are designed for stage musicians, there are so many other applications these are great for, including exercising.  Btw, I just noticed that when you click on Amazon link it shows up for $440 but there are other sellers, including sold directly by Amazon for $394.  So, always pay close attention from whom you are buying, can definitely save money.

@twister6: I think I might have missed the conclusion since that definitely answers my question. Thanks!

Great review! I find that westone IEMs have a tendency to suck all music dry of it's emotion, but in return have some excellent detail retrieval. According to other views, other people experience this too. Very unique idda though.
