Great review: I was wondering whether the V2s can be used as a sound card via its USB for laptops/computers? On eBay there are two sellers (Penon Audio being one of them) who clearly state under their product description that the V2s can be used as such...

Thanks! Unless they updated the V2S, I don't think so. The USB on my sample is only there to charge the unit.

Thats what I thought too, it confused me a bit, maybe I am missing something or as you say maybe an upgrade/update - below is what the sellers say about this feature (on eBay)...

1 DOUK. "Can be used as computer sound card with USB connection" source: https://www.ebay.com/itm/262955316838
2 PENON. "can be an OTG sound card of computer or mobile phone" source: https://www.ebay.com/itm/272684704864

They must have updated it I guess. Not sure, sorry.

FYI: Penon Audio got back to me and said;

"Sorry for any misunderstanding. It means this Walnut V2s supports Headphone AMP function. That is to say,it can be used as music player and headphone AMP."

So their V2s product description was incorrect.
