Funny enough, I am that guy that always has trouble with IEM fit and the EXT feels like it was custom made for my ears. I had the best fit of any IEM I’ve owned/demo’d with the EXT.

Great review! Makes me want to re-purchase the Z1R as well. But I'm excited to try the EXT, given my preference for instrumental guitar, jazz, and female vocals. Also, your photographs are sublime. Well done!

Excellent review, made me remember my ZIR(sold now), and I agree with what you say about the Z1R, that is how I experienced it too. Going to try some of these new kids on the block when I get back into the portable hobby (too much focused on building my desktop and headphone system these days).

Think Ill probably end up sticking with EVO.
