I only have the Susvara and it drove them with excellent control and headroom with the gain set to +6db.
You also have +12db and +18db, it will shred them to pieces.

The cable is the new sky blue Master line by Lavricables.

If I am not mistaken the DAC board on the 590² is the same as with the 380².
So the difference is more related to the headphone amplifier.
It is essentially the V340 vs the V550 headphone amplifiers.
And the V550 is slightly more reference and neutral than the 340, more technical, greater soundstage, better definition and separation, even more dynamic but still the musical house sound.
But not as warm as the 340.

@Ichos Is the difference between V550 and nimbus us5 pro very small? as far as I know, nimbus are also more neutral and reference-sounding.

Unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure of reviewing the NIIMBUS.
From what I know, the V550 is a trickled down version of it so I guess that the flagship must be the ultimate in transparency and technicallities.

I would say definitely end game when it comes to solid state amplifier, supreme as all in one solution and great as a DAC but not up to standalone DACs of the 2K+ region.
And the amplifier definitely scales better with higher end standalone DACs.

I can't have an opinion without listening to it.
Specs are not informative of the sound quality and I don't bite in the latest - better specked and measuring gear hype.
