I don't need a DAC, so it's not really for me, but it's great to hear about the sound.
I Love my V220 and might upgrade it one day.

Thank you Shane, Violectric aren't obsessed with balanced inputs because in their topology they always convert balanced input to unbalanced and then to balanced again.
On another note, as I have written in the review, think the included DAC as a free bonus and just ignore it.

Yes V260 and V550 are among the best amplifiers I have ever used.

If you are going to ignore the DAC.. considering its 1399€... Why not get the burson soloist 3x performance instead for the same price?

Because some people like their coffee black or vanilla ice cream instead of sugar or strawberry ice cream?

And never wrote to ignore the DAC, instead I wrote that is a good option for the budget audiophile.
You just need something better in order to unlock the full potential of the amp.
